Kimi Raikkonen won the Formula 1 China Gran Prix! That's win #5 for the season! In order for Kimi to remain alive in the driver's championship, he needed McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton to finish out of the points. Contrary to Kimi's typical luck, Lewis Hamilton went out of the race as he beached his ride while attempting to negotiate the curve in the pit entry lane! In the driver's championship now, Lewis Hamilton now has 107 points, Fernando Alonso now has 103 points, and Kimi Raikkonen now has 100 points. The driver's championship will now come down to the last race of the season in Sao Paulo, Brazil in two weeks on October 21st!

Van and I went to Gainesville to watch the Gators take on Auburn. It was a disappointing loss with a final score of 17-20, with Auburn scoring a field goal to win the game in the final second of the game! It's too bad that the Gators didn't show up for the first half..... |

| September 29th 2006 | Van arrived at about noon in preparation to watch the Gator football game on Saturday.
Christy, Van and I ate lunch and then Van and I spent the majority of the rest of the day preparing our supplies for tailgating at the game on Saturday.

Christy and I spent our last full day in London at the British Gran Prix, where we were able to watch Kimi in action!
He didn't win, but he was on the podium with a 3rd place finish.
